The Club has gone through considerable change over the few years, with a number of refurbishments being undertaken. An extension to the Rugby Club was built to house new changing rooms and associated facilities - this was made possible due to a grant of £652,667 from the Sport England Lottery fund. To complete the refurbishment the Club also undertook a considerable amount of fundraising itself which meant that the social facilities could also be completely refurbished. We now have a Club house to be proud of.

Social Rooms...

The Clubhouse has two rooms where players and supporters can relax and have a drink before and after the games. The Players bar is used both before and after games, and is the area where after match meals are consumed. Supporters can often be found in here relaxing with a Breakfast 'butty' before the games, and sharing a warm drink on Winter days. The Players Bar is also used as a Club Restaurant on Thursday nights when meals are served - phone the Club to book.

The Lounge is the area where you will often find supporters and players sharing a more relaxed drink when winding down after a hard game. The refurbishment in this are was completed in August 2004 and therefore the facilities are first class. There are a wide range of draught beers available throughout the Clubhouse, with all your favourite bottled drinks also available in the newly installed drinks coolers. A great drink is never far away! You will be well looked after by the Club Stewardess Val, and her team of friendly Bar Staff. Venue for Hire...

The Rugby Club is available for hire throughout the year. Two spacious rooms with a 150 person capacity are available for Private and Corporate functions. Packages available include audio/visual setup, tea/coffee and biscuits, meals and fully licensed bar. You can add that little bit extra to your day with fun activities to enjoy - try our Quads or maybe the Mini-moto track.

Other Facilities...

Other facilities at the Club include eight new changing rooms - each with shower and toilet facilities, two Referees rooms with shower areas, Gents and Ladies toilets, and a Physiotherapy room. The Club also has a small Gym that is available most evenings.
